Artists to Watch: 🤩 Nasio Domoni
Local band Nasio Domoni was formed in 2005 from regular ‘sigidrigi’ sessions around the ‘kava’ bowl. They have since changed members and grown their brand to award-winning heights at the FPRA Music Awards in recent years & we’re proud to have hosted them on the #thurstonfoodandmusic festival stage.
Artists to Watch: 🤩 Glass Alley.
Nadi-founded alternative rock outfit. With a revitalised guitar section and drumline, Glass Alley hoping to bring back rock to Fiji’s live music stage. 🤙
Founded in 97 is a band that has seen many members come and go but always stuck with their own sound, they forged on to release 2 singles this year after piecing themselves together less than 3 years ago. With a brand new single dropping soon and an album in future works Glass Alley is excited to be performing at this year’s at #ThurstonFoodAndMusic festival with a message. “We call you out Suva! Time to get amped!” #wethebroken – Side note: Knox was a part of Glass Alley once 😎
Delighted to announce that VOU is part of this year’s festival artists line-up.
“We absolutely love the #foodandmusicfestival because it is a place of happiness. It makes us happy seeing people happy & being able to be a part of that is such a blessing to us. The simple act of making people feel something & showing them the best way possible is definitely one of the highlights of the music festival. A rare honest, intimate & human experience. Art brings people together & that is such a huge responsibility that we at VOU take very seriously; because people don’t usually remember who you are, but how you made them feel. Which is why our hearts often swell with gratitude, because it is a day of service to the people we love. The sight of pure joy is just so heart warming, and that’s where we want to be … where happiness lives.”
